I understand this study aims to help Beyond the Chair better understand the experiences, goals, and needs of beauty and grooming labor profesionals.*

I understand that in order to participate in this study, I must have gone to beauty or grooming vocational school, apprenticeship program, or a technical high school program for beauty and grooming trades.*

I understand that to participate in this study, I must either be in the process of getting an occupational beauty or grooming license, be a licensed cosmetologist, barber, esthetician, or manicurist in the United States, have obtained a license but left the industry, or be a beauty school dropout.*

I understand that this study is being conducted and funded by Beyond the Chair Co. *

I understand that I am agreeing to participate in the study, and I will: read and answer each question on the survey as honestly and accurately as possible, which will take upward of 10-25 minutes.*

I understand that in agreeing to participate, I have considered the risks and the potential benefits of taking part in this study.*

I understand that some questions may make me uncomfortable while answering the survey questions. While completing the survey, I can skip any questions that make me uncomfortable or that I do not want to answer.*

I understand I will not be paid to participate for this study.*

I understand that Beyond the Chair will protect my information and make every effort to keep my personal information private, but they cannot promise complete confidentiality. No information that could identify you will be shared in publications about this study.*
